Our story, in thread.
From a 12-foot handloom in Varanasi to one of India's most loved luxury saree houses — a story of craft, family, and 450+ master weavers.
A loom in a 12×9 room
In 1998, Neha — our founder — set up a single handloom in a small rented room in Varanasi. She was 22, freshly married, and the first woman in her family to start a business. She had one Banarasi saree to her name, two master weavers, and an unshakable belief that the most beautiful cloth in the world deserved a home that wasn't a tourist shop.
Twenty-seven years later, that single loom has grown into a network of 450+ weavers across Banaras, Kanchipuram, Chanderi and West Bengal. But the rules haven't changed: every piece is woven by hand, finished by eye, and arrives in a hand-tied silk pouch.
Four things we will never compromise on
Handloom, Always
No power looms. No shortcuts. Every saree takes between 18 days and 6 months to weave — and we like it that way.
Fair Weave Pay
Our weavers are paid 2.4× the industry average, with insurance, paid leave, and a share in every collection.
Limited Drops
We never repeat a design. When a piece is gone, it's gone — and that's the point. Yours, alone.
Honest Pricing
Direct from the loom to your door. No middlemen, no inflated markups — just fair, transparent value.
